Challenge: The challenge is to design an innovative experience to improve the level of engagement of the ‘millennial’ generation in the World Heritage site.
Solution: The final solution is to have a technical challenge in a world heritage site (Repslagarbanan). The challenge is divided in three different levels depending on the participants ages and knowledge. The common thing for these levels are that you have to build a boat by using ice cream sticks.
Impact: The millennials gets more aware and interested in the world heritage sites that we have in Karlskrona and they gain more knowledge.
Prototypes: Raspberry PI with RFID-tag and sensor, a camera and a light-sensor, a GPS-module. We built everything from scratch during and had a building time of a week.
