Challenge: Identifying an innovative way to enhance the tourist experience in Karlskrona using interactive technology. The challenge was to design a system that delivers tourist information in an engaging manner and captures the attention of visitors.

Solution: Development of TikTour, an interactive system providing tourist information through a screen with control pedals. TikTour uses short and engaging videos to present information about local attractions, offering a dynamic alternative to traditional tourist information services.

Impact: The TikTour aims to enhance the tourist experience by providing information in an accessible and playful manner. It offers an innovative solution to capture visitors’ attention and showcase unique aspects of Karlskrona. The potential impact includes increased tourist satisfaction and positive promotion of the city.

Prototypes: The project involved the creation of TikTour prototypes, including an interactive screen, control pedals, and an external structure representing a submarine. The prototypes allowed testing the effectiveness of interaction with the public and adjusting the design accordingly.
