Digitalisation within primary healthcare – a digital booking and check-in system

Challenge: FInd a solution within E-health to better a primary care center inKarlshamn

Solution: A digital booking and self check-in system. This system allows for a more dynamic appointment scheduling due to digitalised check in enabeling real time visibility of patient arivals and a more efficient system for reschduling. The system supports the staff of the health clinic reducong their adminstrative workload.

Impact: Estimated to save 360 hour per month for a clinic with 50 employees. The system reduces waiting time, stress and anxiety of patients

Prototypes: A sandbox, critical experience, critical function and dark horse prototype was done to gather feedback from users to improve the system.
