Challenge: To develop an autonomous robot that cooperates with a second robot. The challenge was to pick up balls in different sizes, sort them, and place them in the right container.
Solution: The solution for the first robot that this group was working on was to develop a gearbox that needed only two motors to achieve four outputs. In that way, the solution did not need as many motors to solve the problem.
Impact: The impact was that this kind of solution works with a lot of patience, hard work, and cooperation. It was a great opportunity to learn and gain new skills regarding product development.
